Here at Sense Organics we love food! Especially holiday food! Because Sense Organics is so worldwide there are many Christmas traditions happening among us. We have people based in India, Hong Kong, Berlin, Frankfurt and London! And of course each of us has a different holiday tradition! I'm an American, married to a German living in London, England so my Christmas traditions are all over the place. Growing up my family gathered on Christmas Eve opened our stockings and then went to a midnight carol service. Food was usually a pizza or some fun cuisine. Christmas day is when we opened the rest of our gifts and had a nice feast with turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes and the list goes on! When my husband and I visit his family in Germany for Christmas we open all our gifts on Christmas Eve along with carol singing and frankfurts and potatoes. It's a really relaxed evening based around family. Christmas Day in Germany is usually a big gathering with all the family and friends and a very big delicious meal. Usually, duck. This year my husband, daughter and I are spending Christmas here in London. Our very first Christmas as a family just the three of us. We now want to make our own traditions. We have decided to have a nice chill Christmas Eve opening stocking and having a light easy meal. On Christmas Day we will open our presents well actually watch our little one open her presents, which will be loads of fun and have goose for lunch. And later in the afternoon a walk in the Heath with friends! Christmas is about family and that's what I want to focus on. Presents are nice but I think it's silly to go over board and lose sight of what the holidays are all about. I look forward to spending quality time with my family and creating new memories! What are your plans for Christmas this year?
